Being brand new to the Domestic Violence Field, I was NOT highly confident in my ability to be successful in this new arena.

 

However, after attending the AMEND Together Conference in Nashville, Tennessee and the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Consolidated Youth and Engaging Men Training Institute in Atlanta, Georgia in September 2019, I have gained new confidence! I now believe that it is we MEN who must lead this initiative with the support of the women around us. During the AMEND Together Conference I had the opportunity to dialog with celebrity Terry Crews who told his story about being sexually violated himself. Talking with him was eye-opening and inspiring. He exemplifies HOW men can support a non-violent world. A world I am working for!
